Sara Marcheli was born in Austin, Texas and graduated from University of Houston with a degree in Art Education. In 2010 she began taking classes at Glassell School of Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, where she has been studying art since. Sara is a figurative artist who paints mostly in oils but also works in watercolor, collage, and photography.
Her work is in several private collections and has been exhibited numerous times in the Houston area and at Glassell receiving a merit award and two scholarships. She is currently a member of the XXI class of Glassell’s rigorous Block program and works from her studio in Richmond, Texas.
